Not to mention elite and stable football programs are usually legit in the race for the championship every year. The program is constantly selling itself. Five star recruits are more willing to wait their turn once they become signees. And when large numbers of five stars are willing to fully embrace the slow indoctrination of winning habits and regimens for three plus years, that's when elite football can be witnessed.

In basketball, Calipari's program is stable but he has to throw out a new five every year with many being true freshmen, and he also has to endure the somewhat chaotic March Madness tournament. Thus, I think it's harder to win championships in CBB.
