If you think they are going after a low ceiling, maxed out college player, then you really do not know the organization.
Like was said above me, we are going high school, and probably high school pitcher. Both Gore and Baz have tons of helium. Gore might not even make it to #5, but if he was, he is probably the favorite. If we can get Baz to forgo his commitment to TCU, then he is definitely an option, and he is one of the youngest pitchers in the draft, and that is one of the biggest factors we look for. Beck is probably a distant third.
As long as this front office is in Atlanta, you can look at four things when it comes to the first round. 1.High School 2.Pitcher 3.Young in his class 4.High ceiling. Until they go against that philosophy, I would trust it.

Yeah I liked that strategy when the braves already had a winning team but I want to win soon.
