I don't think switching Auburn and Missouri is going to solve the issue of imbalance.
I do believe it would help, but Mizzou is a solid enough program that it wouldn't balance things out all that much. Is trading the #3 team in the West with the #4 team in the East really going to balance things out?
The real root of the SEC East's weakness is the fact that both Vandy and Kentucky reside in the same division. They are without a doubt the 2 weakest programs in the SEC, both historically and currently. That fact likely won't ever change. One of those two needs to move to the West.
If you put Auburn in the West and Vandy in the East, then you have balanced divisions.

I know I speak from a unique position as someone who is a fan of a team winning all the time, therefore I can brush off things like this, but I really do just want to see more fun games that are interesting and historical.
I like watching Auburn-Florida and Auburn-Tennessee. I'd LOVE to go back to playing Georgia more often. I don't have anything against Arkansas or Missouri or Texas A&M, those games just don't pack the same punch that a home game or a road trip to Athens or Knoxville do.
I'm content moving to the East to play Florida, Georgia, Tennessee and Auburn every year knowing it's a tougher division and that LSU or whoever may have a much easier time on the other side.
