Georgia Tech was at one time Alabama's biggest rival. Unfortunately, Bobby Dodd pussied out and GT left the conference. Point is, these things come and go. Nobody considers Tech one of Alabama's rivals now.

Just because Tennessee and Auburn used to play often doesn't mean it still is a relevant contest. Auburn has played LSU just as many times as they've played UT, soon to be more. To say nothing of the fact that Mississippi State is Auburn's second most played opponent. What of that "traditional rivalry?"

State is traditionally bad and nobody other than Ole Miss considers them a rival, no matter how often they have played?
