I understand what you were getting at and agree that in light of recent events, the cops have been subject to bullshite and unfair accusations, but the burglars hit another car and went into the pond. The cops tried to save them. I know you read that too, and that's not what I'm getting at. But being a douche and saying "I bet it's the cops fault" only fuels the fire and makes the divide between "us and them" even greater. You're giving them every reason to make it about the cops because you've just pissed them off with saying something like that. Don't say no shite it won't be no shite.
