Jacolby tells me "most of the department" has reached out from Arkansas and told him, basically, to stay patient as he'll likely be the first phone call and visit for whoever takes over. He was also told that they're hoping to make a hire ASAP, which is probably no surprise either.

The coaches have no idea if they'll still be here to help recruit Jacolby, but I thought it was nice that they'd take the initiative and reach out to an in-state guy to say "Hey, just hang in there and don't write Arkansas off yet," so to speak.
