I used to think Muschamp would bury them into the ground to where they would never recover, also due to Clemson's success.
But then he beat Tennessee and had a decent season considering..
I take a lot of that back now. I think Clemson is in for some rough years sans Watson and Muschamp will have them to 8 win seasons (which is considered successful there), with the occasional 9 win season. He may be there a while.

People said the same thing the year Boyd and Sammy Watkins and other good players left. Your projection isn't based on a detailed look at the players now at Clemson and who will be coming next year. Clemson has the no. 1 QB recruit committed for next season.

I thought he would struggle more last year too . If he can improve this year then I would start to change my mind about him. He could finish last in the east this year and be on track for what we all thought he would do.
