So not really. Maybe west of the MS, but in the Southeast if you say UT everyone knows who youre talking about. Good try though

I think of the University of Texas.

Tennessee is more like UTjr. Or UTe. Or UTlite.

Wow this is dumb.

He said this in response to saying the poster implying USC is in California. South Carolina was a university before California was a state as well so what is your point?
