Fred Ross was great until last year... i think he forgot how to catch or Dak really was that good and made it super easy for him to catch the ball. I'm fairly certain he was projected 4th round after junior season and he chose to return and had a really really bad year. He's nothing special but i do think he has as good a shot to make a roster probably better than most UDFA. Long snapper from bama prolly legit too.

Fred Ross probably most surprising to me overall from SEC.

From LSU it would definitely be DE Lewis Neal IMO. I thought a team for sure would take a 6th or 7th round flyer on him. 6'1 261 pounds and showed he could play outside in a 4-3 and on the end in a 3-4. Ran a 4.72 at pro day, had a 36" vertical with long arms (33 3/8") and a big wingspan (80 1/2"). Not to mention the guy is very smart and has a great head on his shoulders.

As a junior in a 4-3:
48 tackles, 9.5 TFL, 8 sacks, 6 pass breakups, 1 FF

As a senior in a 3-4:
60 tackles, 5.5 TFL, 3.5 sacks, 1 pass breakup

Pretty productive player, started his last 2 years.

Too many comparable players to Ross. I do think he could play some in the NFL.

Are you kidding me? This past year he had 917 yards with 12 touchdowns behind a new QB who ran first and threw later. Where were you? Fred Ross has the ability to get
separation, position himself blocking out a CB and runs great routes. He is not the fastest receiver but fast enough to allow him to do all things above.
