The top three in the SEC had 26, 12 more than their entire league. Even throwing out Bama's league-leading 10 draftees, LSU and Florida combined for 16, or 2 more than the entire Big 12.

How did it break down the 12 by school?
My guess would be OU was propping up those numbers but I am too lazy to check.

So South Alabama had as many drafted as Texas, TCU, Texas Tech and Baylor. I stand by my previous statement.

South Alabama beat more bowl-bound SEC teams than most Big 12 teams, too.

And that's probably an incomplete list because I don't follow the draft. LSU alone will probably put more players on NFL rosters this year than the entire Big 12 combined.

How do you lose 4 games with a squad that has 13 players drafted? Was Les that bad? That's impressive to recruit that much talent though.

I'm pretty sure at least a couple of those names never even sniffed being drafted. They might have been UDFAs, but the 'U' and 'D' in that acronym specifically denote an undrafted player.

Absolutely true. LSU has been on an impressive run putting talent in the NFL. However, it looks like bama is finally closing the gap on talent level. Imagine how screwed y'all are now.

Man does the wheel turn for everyone. Not 5-6 years ago, there were serious -- not just trolling dick-measuring insecurity-laden -- arguments on here about whether Les or Saban was a better coach. Even more recently, there were arguments about how high in the top 10 active college coaches Les ranked. And, to be fair, at the time, there was plenty of quantifiable evidence in Les' favor.
Guy has reached the pinnacle and the nadir of public sentiment in a half-dozen years. At least he's rich.
