Well, Pod 1 is all teams with original mascots.

How many other college teams share those same mascots?

Pod 2, they're all Tigers. Hell, we have 3 fricking teams in the SEC with the Tigers mascot. Adding Clemson would make it 4. That's 4 god damned teams with a Tiger mascot that would play each other. The Tigers would win every year.

Pod 3? 2 Bulldogs, a Wildcat and a Cougar. Cats and Dogs. Houston was the most geographically convenient school that could conceivably join the SEC that would fit the mascot scheme.

pod 4? The leftovers. It only has 3 teams in it for the next few years anyway.

Florida.. the Gator could work in the originals.. but it's not quite as unique as the others. South Carolina? Jacksonville St. relegated you to pod 4. Texas A&M? Aggies.. might be more common than Tigers. Mississippi? Next year you'll have more mascots than scholarship players :)

The alternate name for pod 4 was Aggies are Gators for Rebel Cock.

When are you fricktards going to realize that Texans call UH " Cougar High" for a reason? Houston belongs in the SEC the same way UAB does: geographically convenient but terrible in every other way.
