Alabama linebacker Christian Miller underwent sports hernia surgery Monday, according to AL.com's Matt Zenitz.

The Crimson Tide outside linebacker took to Twitter after the team's annual steak and beans dinner to share the success of his procedure. According to Zenitz, the rising redshirt junior pass rusher is expected to be 100-percent healthy before the start of fall camp.

Miller registered four total tackles, two sacks and one forced fumble in Saturday's A-Day Game as a member of the White team (first-team defense, second-team defense). The Columbia, S.C., native is a top contender for Alabama's Sam linebacker position this fall.
