Three-star junior quarterback Michael Penix of Tampa Bay Technical High School in Tampa, Fla., announced Saturday on his Twitter account that he has committed to Tennessee.

The 6-foot-1, 182-pound Penix chose the Vols over scholarship offers from at least a half-dozen other schools, including Oregon, Arizona, Rutgers and Toledo, giving Tennessee its sixth known commitment for the 2018 class and its second in as many days. Three-star running back Jashaun Corbin of Melbourne, Fla., committed to the Vols on Friday.
