90% of the posters here are Milo fans yet quickly turn into the snowflakes they endlessly mock after discovering a "White Student Union" is being formed simply and only because it's happening at a rival college. Every other race has their own for the same purposes so let the whites have one as well.

The only problem is that Auburn's other minority student unions actually DON'T promote racism and violence like this one is doing. I highly doubt none of the other student unions are passing out anti Semitic fliers like this one did. I also highly doubt that they are sprouting non sense about other races threatening to destroy theirs.

Auburn did the right thing by not letting this Neo- Nazi speak. Yes, it's important that you protect the first amendment and yes you want to make sure that you offer equal opportunity for everyone to excercize their right for freedom of speech and freedom of assembly. However Auburn also has to protect the rights of all of their students and if you allow someone who publicly against a LARGE percentage of your students, falculty, and alumni they it wouldn't be in your best interest as a public university to be connected to this man in any way. (Which is why I thank God everyday that this didn't happen at Alabama.)

Also how many of these posters who want to defend a person's first amendment rights were also rushing to defend the rights of that flag burner on LSU's campus a few years back? It seemed that no one minded if he wasn't allowed to come on campus. Why should the neo nazi be treated any better?

Do you really still believe that that this group is an Auburn student union or is affiliated with the school or student body in any way?

I couldn't disagree more. As an Auburn alum I want anyone who is at the forefront of their particular field/profession/belief system/etc. to come and speak on campus. As long as they show up, respect the campus and the people that call it home, and then leave come on with it. Diversity of application is welcome to me.

Actually, a public university is compelled to allow citizens to speak on its campus. Government doesn't get to decide acceptable speech (yet).

Private school? They can do as they wish.
