Drop the s. They won one. Which is huge, but that was the only thing separating the 2 schools if you're looking from 89 on.
As nice as that was over a decade ago. They've fired 2 coaches since, fallen way behind in facilities, and are stuck in the worst power 5 conference around. There is no light at the end of the tunnel with their poor man's Sumlin.

Do you not understand that UT right now has more power than before A&M left
For this simple fact that UT is pretty much in the driver's seat of controlling all future expansion
They have the pick in what of the four conferences they want to go to
They tip the balance of college football because wherever they go that conference instantly becomes the most powerful conference in the country
Right now the SEC has the most power in college football but a Texas in either of the other three conferences will put them over the SEC
