I'm going to lay this out for the discussion.

Vic Schafer has never beaten South Carolina. 0-10. South Carolina has beaten MSU 10 straight. The last two years, the games have been close and exciting, but MSU just hasn't been able to beat them.

Both games this year were in the state of South Carolina. Both games MSU controlled until the 4th quarter and A'ja took over. This is going to be another tough one for State - they do not match up well with SC.

SC's guards are just as quick as ours and A'ja is the best player in the nation inside. State's chance is going to rely on someone just having the game of their lives.

South Carolina really has been much better than expected and in someways more explosive without Coates. I expect a good game though, would be an awesome story seeing MSU win the title but it really could go either way.

Still in shock over last night, I expected a tight game somewhat due to MSU and their defense but MSU just continued to just cause havoc. UCONN wasn't making shots they should and they couldn't get into any kind of rhythm. I do love watching MSU play defense, they are fun to watch.

Pretty awesome seeing two SEC teams in the title game.

IMO, this game will be harder for MSU than the UConn game was. We had no expectations or pressure to win against UConn. The pressure is on now. That being said, after seeing our ladies do what most of the country thought was impossible, I think mental fortitude will come in handy this game. I can at least have confidence that they won't be rattled due to the significance of competing for a national championship.

Their strengths are the same as ours except theirs are better.

Too much momentum on state side right now.. there's no way they let this one get away from them. SC may be a better team but State is wanting it more at the moment.
