Has it been done before?
Coastal Carolina - baseball
Clemson - football
Gamecocks - basketball?
I'm guessing CA may have done with USC (football and baseball) and UCLA (basketball).

Amazing what has happened there since Fournette auctioned his jersey for SC flood relief.

Not quite the original question, but the early 70s in Southern California had to be remarkable.
From 72 to 76, 3 USC football titles
3 UCLA titles from 72 to 75
72-74, 3 straight baseball national titles for USC.
That's 9 national titles in 15 shots in that 5 year window, all in one metro area.

First baseball is not a major sport.
But using these 3 sports in your question , technically it really hasn't happened for South Carolina either..
If you look at it for a calendar year, if USC wins it... It's 2017 and baseball and football haven't been crowned.
2016 would have been Nova, CC, Clemson
If you look at it from a school year fall-spring
You have Clemson, USC, ??
Or to include CC. It would be Bama, Nova, CC
Now reigning champion would include all 3, but the reign will most likely change in a couple months....
But this is just being technically.... I don't count the fact they made up the Tiger Slam either, you can't just choose when to start the Slam in golf or Tennis it starts with the first Slam of that calendar year.
However I think the state of South Carolina should be extremely proud and their teams sir have given their fans one hell of a ride.

If the Gamecocks win a week from tomorrow, then all three titles will reside in SC at least until the CWS.

Go back a year, the Carolina's were on the verge of having the Super Bowl Champs, college football Champs and college basketball Champs.
And then they had nothing. All three lost in the championship.
Btw, frick unc.

I said this earlier..
Just don't think its exactly the same as winning all 3 in either the calendar year or school year.
And college baseball is not a major sport!
