I'd call 44%+ elite.
38-44% good, but not knockdown.
35%-37% decent.
And anything below 35% average to below average as you go down.
And I guess my other point has been missed completely. Those that are NBA draft evaluators do not evaluate college prospects on their shooting by their 3 point percentage, they look at free throw percentage. A good free throw percentage to them means that a prospect's stroke is good and their three will eventually translate very well.

There's literally been two guys in NBA history north of 44%. Neither took more than 2.5 per game.
Monk will likely be a good shooter in the NBA. He's got a pure stroke, good release, elevates well. His questions will be defending bigger guys and whether or not he can run an NBA offense as the point.
I think Brad Beal would be a pretty good player comp for him.

Canyon Barry grannies that shite in at nearly ninety percent. He's not a great shooter by any means.

You also think Curry, Thompson, Ray Allen, Reggie Miller are good but not knockdown.
