The OP's premise is that JR Smith and Malik Monk are comparable players. They aren't. I laughed at the idea. JR is a one trick pony, but his one trick is very good and fits well on a team with Lebron James. Malik is not as good at JR's one trick, but he excels in other areas. I said that too BTW.

Hard to know that for a fact at this point. He's got better stats but as you have said and I acknowledged the NBA game is a different story.
