Nice pivot. Let's get back to what you originally said.
JR Smith - 37%
Monk - 39.5%
So we can round 37 up to 40 but we can't round 39.5 up to 40? You don't think Monk is capable of hitting two more threes than he did? Because that would put him at 40.
quote:
JR and Malik are not even remotely similar. Malik shoots an extremely low percentage from three
JR Smith - 37%
Monk - 39.5%
quote:
JR shoots 40+% from three. Malik is not capable of that from the college line.
So we can round 37 up to 40 but we can't round 39.5 up to 40? You don't think Monk is capable of hitting two more threes than he did? Because that would put him at 40.

"Extremely low" was an overstatement, but I was inebriated when I said that in my defense. You're still comparing college three point shooting to NBA three point shooting. In addition to the line being further back, there are a variety of other factors that come in to play when attempting to make that comparison. A lot of superstars are not elite jump shooters, which I also said Malik Monk has a very good chance to become.
