I know it's petty, but there's no way Carolina deserved that 7 over us. No fricking way.
It was ours.
It was ours.

They had nonconference wins we didn't in Michigan and Syracuse.
Also didn't lose to Missouri.

Meh. We should have been destroying Butler tonight instead of Carolina.

SCAR vs UF
Hogs VS UK
The country would have collapsed had half the elite 8 come from the SEC like it should be.

If we would have done any ONE of the following we wild have had it
Beat Missouri
Beat Mississippi State
Beat Florida
Beat Kentucky
Beat Oklahoma State
Beat Florida
Beat Kentucky
Every meaningful game we had, we lost. And then lost a couple bad one's to boot.

I don't disagree, and that's pretty well what I have to tell myself to not let Hog fandom keep me down. That said, a certain degree of luck is required for many teams to make it to a respectable post-season position in any sport. The Elite 8 would have reinvigorated Hog fans everywhere. We would be eager for next season and would go into our upcoming shitty football season in high spirits.
But, nope. That's not the way it goes. Ever. We get to chew and seethe on that stolen game, and then we get to hope and pray that Bielema's brain has finally adjusted to the change in air pressure down south and remembers how to win football games again.

You getting tired of all the winning yet comrade?
I told you guys on here for the past year but most wouldn't listen.
Just shows how people can be really informed and smart in some areas of their lives like sports for instance, but then be pretty clueless in others.
Definitely shows an inability to read other people's abilities and skills sets though, you know, determine if they're an ignorant used car salesman or not.
That's a general skill that bleeds into all other aspects of a person's life which causes me to worry about some of you.
I realize some voted the way they did for the party despite the actual person.

I agree with that line of thinking- we made our bed early.
That said, I am pretty proud of them. They could have easily quit after that bad run during the season. I had given up, they didn't and played really good on down the line. I have that NC game on my TiVo. I want to watch it again. Hopefully, the rest of the sting from that loss will subside soon and I can watch it. We played so damn good soooooooooooo for such a chunk of that.
