Stars matter of course, but again once you get past the very elite prospects nobody knows. Those guys are very easy to identify. After that it's a crapshoot. Even if these sites had top talent evaluators (they don't) they wouldn't be able to accurately rank them. Guys get rankings based on where they go, what kind of camps they attended etc. it's not accurate and can't be accurate because there are just way too many variables. At best it's a semi educated guess. At worse it's a "We've never heard of this guy and he's going to Mizzou. 2* sounds good" Gillespie and Gardiner are 2*? L O fricking L.

So teams in the top 10? Yeah, they probably out recruited us. A team 15 slots in front of us? Who knows. Maybe, maybe not. After the play to fans is fulfilled by these sites, the substance of what matters occurs. That's where Odom will have to make his hay.

Also, you've said we can't win with classes outside of the top 30 and Pinkel has emphatically proven that wrong. He never had a 4 year average in the top 30 and he won 10+ games 5 times. Fielded two teams that were legitimate contenders. It CAN be done. Just takes the right guy to do it.

you are aware that most sites have these guys as low to mid 3* right? As does the composite. Which based on their size, times, and video looks about right.

L O fricking L.
