we'll know in a couple of years if works well. We'll know next year if it works. If we don't make a jump from this year, especially with the in state talent, we know we have problems.

I really think the protests hurt BO on his initial class. I think he can rebound if we have a solid year this year with the in state talent next. Time will tell, but I think the jury is out. It would seem to me that BO is very genuine and would do well in front of parents in the living room.

Hey COU, since you mentioned a potential FB program pivot point being this years excellent crop of home grown talent, I thought I should pass along this bulletin put out by the National Recruiting Safety Bureau for all MU football fans and dreamers:

quote:

WARNING: Everyone prepare, save youselves, Be sure to wear your reinforced nut cup protection at all times. Hurricane "Disappointing Recruiting" is headed our way. It looks to be a real nut kick of a storm especially since this year MU's home soil has been unseasonally fertile. This will only makes this recurring storm more frustrating as this special crop languish on the vine never to be properly harvested.
