Haven't rewatched it, but no. The qb in the first one -- I've already forgotten his name -- could actually hit a target consistently. Hurts was all over the place. It just gave me a headache. I grant they were unsettled at OC, but that didn't account for the passing problems.
Edit: Coker. Jacob Coker. That was the quarterback's name.

most of the plays both years for Bama were big chunk plays. the first year it was mostly all big chunk plays to Howard.
i thought Bama's offense was better against CLemson than Washington so i don't understand mentioning the OC. the reason saban let Kiffen go is he thought Kiffen wasn't engaged against Washington.
one of the biggest plays on Bama's last scoring drive was a trick play. you have to give the OC some credit for that.
kiffen's offense only scored 10 points against LSU.
