Me and some baws gonna head out to Central FL to check out Orlando..But we want to stay beach side...Last year we did Tampa/Clearwater Beach..It was nice but a little dead and bougie.
Looking into Daytona but I've seen some call it trashy. We need something in the middle.

Also what are the better parks for older teens/young adults besides IOA.

What you looking for??

I'm from Florida. So You can take I-4 straight to Daytona Beach, see the track, or bikers, and a laid back beach. Or you could go to Cocoa Beach and the best surf spot in Fla (Sebastian Inlet) if you wanna surf. Thats where Kelly Slater is from. He is the MJ of surfing, also you got Ron Jons original Surfshop.

If you visit the gulf coast, it'll be hot, but you'll get to see the best sunsets on the east coast. you could go to Tampa or a little north of there, and its gorgeous, but I'd suggest East coast.. because its a lil closer to Orlando and has more of a sea breeze.

Yeah, Im looking into Coca more.

I didn't know people drove on to DB.

Just seemed that DB was the most vibrant that part of the coast.

Cocoa's beach is nasty. Cigarette butts, glass and grayish tint to the sand. NSB or Canaveral National Seashore.

Depends on what ur looking for beachwise? The best beach in the area is siesta key(sarasota)...beautiful white sand beach...but yeah, the whole guld coast side is a little more laid back in general. As far as the parks go: busch gardens in tampa has the most and probably best thrill rides. Sea world and the disney studios have the next best rides for teens in Orlando(after IOA)...

Hands down it's Playalinda. Go to Titusville and head out to National Seashore. The only buildings you will see are the launch pads at NASA. There are 12 parking areas that stretch down the beach road. I believe that lot 12 is the nude beach. Pristine as it gets...

It's actually quite awesome to have such wide open sand.

It is, but depending on what you want st augstine to cocoa beach is fairly reasonable.

Daytona isn't "trashy" anymore but if you're worried about that you can always go up the road on 95N from I4 E and hit up Crescent Beach or Ponte Vedra.

Cocoa Beach or even Melbourne. You can drive on the beach at Daytona, but there will be more trash there for sure.

Yeah, Cape Canaveral was another reason.. Always been intrigued with space, unfortunately though no scheduled launch on our dates unless they add them later..You know how far in advance they decide these things?

Still going no matter what though

Melbourne to Cocoa is cool and the space center has a cool visitor center to see. I like Sebastian Inlet to the south to see the boats crash the inlet on a rough day.

St. Augustine has cool history and takes about 2 hours to get there. See the 2 forts, drive on the beach, good food, not too pricey.

Daytona is trashy. The hotels are bad too unless you spend $$$. If you want to do stupid bars and the like it is your place.

Weeks/months. Always getting delayed though so double check the launch calendar when you're there.
