That's the thing I don't understand --why people are afraid that we could do worse. Is that possible? Sure. In that case, rinse and repeat. It's not like we are giving up consistent tournament appearances for an unproven coach or are going to lose out on any big time recruits. We are a below average to average team with Fox and it's clear that he is unable to take us to the next level.

Exactly. We're on solid enough footing right now as a program and have access to enough high profile talent that we almost assuredly aren't going to be going 8-20 or something like that with the new guy. So what's the worst that could happen, we miss the tourney? Or miss the NIT? Not that far off from what we already are so who cares. At least it'd shake up the status quo and give us hope and the potential to actually do big things.

Fire whoever you want. I just don't think it's a drastic enough change to the program to accomplish much.
