Galin is pretty raw I think. I couldn't even find highlights of him on YouTube for the OP, but he has great size.

Yeah but I don't think that'll be a problem once he gets to Bama. Seems like we did a good job developing Jimmie and Hall, especially offensively. They didn't have much of an offensive game at all when Avery arrived and now they do. Hopefully they'll be able to turn Galin into a pretty good player. Also, Avery found Sexton before he was ranked and immediately knew he wanted him. He did the same with Galin. Obviously Sexton and Galin aren't on the same level, but Avery wouldn't have offered him if he didn't have potential.

Charlie Potter:

Avery Johnson on establishing in-state recruiting ties in Alabama: "It was a big challenge for me because I had never coached in college and never spent much time in the state of Alabama. But I think a big key to that was me retaining Antoine Pettway."

quote:

Avery Johnson on if Collin Sexton being drafted helped in recruiting: "Absolutely, absolutely. We can’t mention any names, but we think if we continue to roll up our sleeves and work hard, that’s going to be nothing but a positive for us."
