Auburn paid a $350 dollar bill for a kids car and got two years probation. Bama paid a kid 200k and tried to cover it up...big big difference. And Mississippi state tried to pay Cam not AU, which is why the NCAA didn't find any wrong doing after a 13 month investigation.

Wrong answer. In the early 90s Alabama got busted for Antonio Langham signing a napkin for an agent, in the celebratory aftermath of the national title win vs Miami. The ncaa decided UA should forfeit victories for the games in which he played the next season.

Around the same time, I think a year after or prior to UA's case, Auburn coaches were found to have paid players, and Auburn had only to give up the few tv games for one year that teams played back then. I think they also had to give up one bowl game. COACHES PAID PLAYERS.

If you're so deluded you believe Cam turned down that amount of money from State to go to Auburn for free, I've got some oceanfront property I'll sell you for a deal. I'll give props to Auburn for conceiving a plan smooth enough to get away with it. Hey, it's only wrong if you get caught.
