measured by winning pct. Auburn, Tennessee, and LSU are the next 3.

Just an observation.

There's actually Alabama, and then the rest.

Congrats? In 1970 I was in Jr. High, and my children are older than most here.

Anyway, since SEC teams integrated, Alabama, UGA, and Florida are the top 3 teams, and I expect that will be the case for the next 46 years.

Not complaining, just curious, but what sparked the 1970 start date?

LSU had a terrible 90s and it should in no way be omitted. We have been upper big 6 outside of that decade and overall including that decade though

All time (program rankings not win%)
1 Alabama
T2 Tennessee
T2 LSU
4 Georgia
5 Auburn
6 Florida

Since 90s
1 Alabama
2 Florida

Since 2000s
1 Alabama
2 LSU
3 Florida

Pre 2000s (since it will come up)
1 Alabama
2 Tennessee
T3 Georgia
T3 LSU
5 Auburn
T6 A&M
T6 Florida

This is impossible. I was specifically told by several SEC fanbases that LSU was founded by Nick Saban in 2000.

I'm so confused.

How far forward or backward do you have to take it to remove Bammer from the top 3?

Not to be "that guy", but what happened in 1970 to make it historically relevant in this context?

I was wondering how long it would take USCjr to show up and beat their chests about being #9.

Not long.

Auburn football started in 1982. Except for 1957, that counted too.

35% of MSU's football program Bowl History involves Dan Mullen. This list is impressive up top, but I wouldn't trade current situational places with:

Tennessee
Florida
USCjr
aTm
Ole Miss
Vandy
Mizzou
Kentucky
Auburn
