I doubt it. Dan Mullen is far more shifty and smart than Hugh Freeze and States not going to all of a sudden start signing top 5 recruiting classes. However, top 15 classes are well within their reach and honestly, if Dan does for Fitz what he did for Dak, it could get interesting especially concerning top QB recruits. Dan is already making close to 5 million a year at State. Few teams are going to be willing to pay him more than that without some major hardware. If he happen to start winning some major hardware, I believe State would pony up more money to keep him.

Believe what you want, but Dan Mullen is actually a pretty damn good coach. He's done a lot for the program at State with facilities and on the field. Remember, he damn near took them to Atlanta a few years ago and probably would have won the SEC championship that year if he had. He did that with a lot less talent and money than any other team in the west.
