Yep, and those players will now mostly go to Alabama, LSU, Tennessee, Auburn, etc. Alabama lost out on 5-6 elite Mississippi kids the last few years to Ole Miss.

State might sign a couple more players, but it isn't like all kids that would have gone to Ole Miss are now going to go to State

Exactly this^

We'll average around one more win for the next decade or so. It's not that we will be getting that much better, but we'll get yearly W over a shell of an Ole Miss team along with everyone else in the SEC west.

I haven't been rooting for the ncaa to hammer them but it almost does put a small smile on my face to know they are within a few years (or sooner) of becoming the worst team in the SEC. Quite a few of their fans were pretty insufferable during the 2 years they had an above average football team even though they had to cheat to do it. Ole Miss is about to be bad. Very bad.

Weren't you doing that anyway? Haven't y'all been kicking there asses regularly since Dan Mullen took over? Other than the two years where they had recruiting classes they had no business having I mean.
