Agreed for sure. Bourbon is typically my drink but the Balvenie was a good scotch intro. Have been trying some of the peaty stuff now but wouldn't have liked them as much at first I don't think.

Another good liquor is the Michters American Whiskey. It's crazy smooth and has a sweet finish too. It's a great sipping whiskey and well worth the extra cost. I actually like it better than any of the top shelf bourbon I've tasted.
