I believe you're right. From our end just look at the Akers situation. Did he want to come here? I don't know. I want to say he did. Certain people pump a ton of sunshine when it comes to Ole Miss recruiting. But, with all of the NCAA stuff looming, he went elsewhere and out of state.

A good comparison are the kids from Louisiana. If they don't like LSU, they literally go anywhere else.
The kids who are Ole Miss fans may not go to OM, but they probably end up going anywhere but State.
