I don't think so, Ms is so small and everything becomes cyclical. There are a certain number of folks that will always go to the black bears, as well as a certain number that will always go to MState.

The thing the may hurt is that the black bears have focused on "out of state" recruiting, basically saying that in-state talent was inadequate. I am not sure if Mullen and crew have capitalized on that.

Of course at this point, Mullen can show the number of State folks in the NFL vs the black bears (regardless of recruiting rankings).

When they get a 2 or 3 year bowl ban and lose 30-40 scholarships we aren't going to lose an in state kid to them that we want unless the kid has a major connection to Ole Miss and even then he will probably just go out of State if he isn't a complete idiot. We aren't going to have to worry about them in recruiting for 3 or 4 years minimum so we better take advantage.
