Whew!
too close for comfort for a while, and we didn't look great.
But the matchup was different as well. WPS!
Now, lets keep it up!

Sloppy at times but team looks very meshed right now and thought Thompson looked great besides the couple backdoor cuts he let through

Come on man, the Aggies play a style that makes teams look that way.

Mike reverts back to the 40 minutes of hell BS, should've won by 20.

Things I noticed from the game:
1. Moses Kingsley was ineffective in the paint. He did manage to pull down a double double, but he just seemed to struggle against TAMU's size and length. If his jumper had been falling, we would have blown them out since they would have had to come out and defend the mid range, which would have opened up the lane and the baseline to a lot more cutting.
2. TAMU is BIG. Thank goodness our shots were falling, because TAMU seemed to have the rim on lock. We had more success penetrating in the second half, which was good.
3. TAMU was unimpressive on the boards, and we were pretty good. Our guards were really good at rebounding last night.
4. TAMU's starters are solid. They just don't have a bench.
5. Our defense is improving. It isn't the 40 Minutes of Hell of old, but we've gone from a good offensive team that doesn't guard to a good offensive team that occasionally guards. All kidding aside, I'm happy with the improvement.
6. I was impressed every time the team responded to a TAMU run. They made a couple of runs to cut into the deficit, but each time the Hogs responded well. If the game is on the line, I want the ball in Macon's or Barford's hands. Beard is legit too, and if Hannahs is open, then I trust he will hit that shot.
7. Trey Thompson is going to be good if he continues to progress at this rate. I honestly felt more comfortable with him and the other bigs in there than I did with Moses.
