That's always the risk even for bama. Player gets NFL deal doesn't give a shite or what brought down SMU, a player gets hurt or doesn't pan out and rats u out

Well, the question will be "are they better off now?"


As I read on ESPN, will the penalties out way the profit or program status.

If they only get a few scholarships taken and a 1 year bowl ban then yeah. Why not do it again? Why would other teams not do it?

I fully believe that they went down this path due to the NCAA not effectively enforcing it's laws via punishment. Cases like Miami and Auburn. Everybody knew that would open Pandora's Box.


Now what do they do? Leave it open? Or close it?
