And yes, I too remember Goff's name just appearing and blowing up almost instantly. I think the in-state experience coupled with his records at Montevallo and La Tech got him hired when nobody else showed great interest. There certainly was very little or no digging done or his shortcomings would have been easily discovered. I just don't feel like I want this guy being the face of the program with his demeanor.
