Only 3 streaks I give a shite a about are 3 SEC Championships in a row, 10essee, and 3 on auburn. Sure, 6 is nice on LSU, but that's more amusing because every fricking year we hear about how LSU is gonna whip our arse this year.

not saying it didn't count, but saying that it happened with the 2 best coaches in your program's history going up against a Bama coach who went 24-23 kinda offers some perspective.
Also, that 5 year streak is the anomaly historically for LSU. It represents 20% of your all time wins against Bama. Outside of that period, LSU has never beaten Bama more than twice in a row. Meanwhile, Bama has 7 streaks of at least 3 wins against LSU, 3 streaks of 5+ wins, and 1 streak of 11 consecutive wins. The all time record is 51-25-5. There is likely more of THAT on the horizon for LSU.
