I wanted to take this opportunity to get in here and let you guys know that y'all will be very pleased with the hiring of Matt Lindsey as South Carolina's DPP. Lindsey may be young and a name that you have not heard before, but he has both the knowledge and the drive to be very successful in Columbia.
I had the pleasure of working with Matt during my time at Alabama football and have stayed in touch with him since his time in the NFL as the Eagles college scouting coordinator. He is well respected and connected in the personnel community and will bring a wealth of knowledge and organization to the Gamecock's recruiting efforts.
He is yet another disciple of Ed Marynowitz, who has produced the DPP's at UF and UGA among many others in the NFL and at other universities. He also has the most experience with Marynowitz having worked with him during his time at the Philadelphia Eagles.
He has always been a behind the scenes kind of guy up until this point, but he is more than qualified for this job and I have no doubt that he will do great things for you guys.
