2016 Bama had a slightly better defense than 2015, but 2015 had a much better offense, particularly at controlling the ball which is vital against a great offense like Clemson.
I'd rate the teams
2015 Bama
2015 Clemson
2016 Clemson
2016 Bama
It took everything we had to beat Clemson in 2015. They can even make the case they should've won. This year if we'd had any semblance of a passing attack we win easily.

Alabama just abused Clemson in the special teams game though in 2015. I mean baaaaaaadddddd.
