Alabama offered four-star tight end and Miami commit Brevin Jordan on Sunday night, the Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman product announced on Twitter.

"That's a huge offer," Jordan tells BamaOnLine. "Alabama is the top program in the country. But I'm 10,000 percent 'Canes."

The offer is intriguing considering the Crimson Tide is heavily pursuing -- and is in good position for -- two other tight ends in Luke Ford and Texas commit Dominick Wood-Anderson, not to mention its interest in in-state riser Michael Parker.

The Tide has taken two tight ends in each of the previous two classes. It's not likely to do the same in 2018 with its current depth at the position.

To reinforce Jordan's position on his commitment status, Miami insider Andrew Ivins feels Jordan is secure in his commitment as it stands as well.

The 6-foot-3, 250-pounder is rated the No. 3 tight end and the No. 65 overall player in the country, per the industry-generated 247Sports Composite.

On the season, the U.S. Army All-American has caught 22 passes for 349 yards and three touchdowns.

Jordan says Miami is the only official visit he will take.
