PARK CROSSING (May 13)
Saw Park Crossing play in a spring game loss to Hoover. The starters were down 28-23 after three quarters to the defending 7A champs.
Quarterback Cam Taylor and offensive lineman Tank Jenkins have power 5 offers and they will go to bigger schools. Taylor is likely a safety at the next level. He moved around pretty well for a guy coming off major knee surgery. He reminded me of Auburn signee Malcolm Askew playing quarterback at McAdory, but Taylor is a little bigger than Askew.
Running back Uziah McDaniels is an FCS or Division II talent, coach Smitty Grider said. Receiver Doron Mitchell had a nice game, catching two touchdown passes and should get some opportunities.
In the junior class, Tacorey Turner has in his first year playing football and already has an offer form Bowling Green. He's a basketball player and a tall corner, so coaches love that. Darius Hodges, at 6-foot-3 and 240 pounds, is also one to watch as a defensive end.

PAUL BRYANT (May 15, May 19 in spring game)
Seth Williams is the big recruit here, as the four-star recruit will be much better in college with better quarterback play. Would love to see him at The Opening because I think the 6-foot-2, 202-pound physical Williams would really stand out under the radar.
Alabama, Auburn, Georgia and Ole Miss are the top power 5 schools after Williams right now.
Cornerback Jamarcus Burrell, at 6-foot-2, has offers from the likes of Marshall and Arkansas State. Ole Miss is interested, coach Eldrick Hill, but has not yet offered.
Defensive end Landon Perry has Samford and some other FCS offers.
Watch out for these rising sophomores - defensive end Javaris Hoskins, safety Jy'Derius Gray and Xavier Morrow. Hill feels like they can be power 5 recruits. Morrow received an offer from Arkansas State this week.
Coaches from Alabama (Karl Dunbar), Memphis, Samford and UAB were at the spring game Friday at Huffman. Bryant won 27-3 in the half with the starters. Seth Williams had two catches, one long one down the right sideline and this 20-yard touchdown.
