Today, and they said that this visit was to make sure that he was okay with Schiano leaving, although most of them are saying Florida is the landing destination (per OSU 247).

I love the last couple days leading up to NSD. NPF seems to have a great head on his shoulders and his parents seem to just want him to be happy and get a great education.

With that said, I would give him a standing O if he picked up a Harvard hat or something similar on Wednesday. Hope he’s a gator though.

Either way, we're in good position to win on NSD. Either way, though, I'm happy that we're actually pursuing guys we ''had no chance'' at a few months ago.

Truthfully that is a huge difference. I’m not for moral victories and neither is Coach Mullen, but he is getting our hat on a lot of guys tables.

It’s a massive improvement because they’re 5 stars and guys that can come in and play NOW

Just being a hat on the table means you wasted your time. In recruiting there is one winner for each recruit and the rest are losers.

Gouraige
NPF
Tanner
Nesta
Copeland
Chatfield
Boykin
Lamar

Need to get at least 6 to go with Watkins. The rest of the class are plan B guys if not listed above.

Targets (6 spots): This is the order of confidence I have we get them

Chatfield
Copeland
Gerald
Boykin
Caleb Tannor
NPF
Nesta
Lamar
Caleb Johnson

I think if we got Nesta we would drop Gerald, or we would keep both if we didn’t get NPF. I don’t think we get Caleb Johnson or Malcolm Lamar.

Give me 6 of the first 7 names and I’ll be thrilled. Hitting on those first five is a solid close and the transition class is around where it usually is for a transition class. NPF and Nesta change this class from solid to outstanding.

I’m talking class ranking wise of course, you never know how players pan out eventually, you just want to get them on the team first.

NPF likely going to Ohio state. Wild.

It seems like every day a new team has some gained momentum, and they certainly have it all right now. Tough to count out Meyer with the last visit.

I would love to say ''just wait'' but it's pretty much a signed deal at this point. It's crazy how Meyer works with recruits, and especially a kid from Florida. A big part of me could understand Notre Dame, but certainly not oSU. All the luck in the world to him.

This is why having a recruit's last visit is so important.

That, and it's hard to come in this late in the game -- however, Mullen got very far and almost swayed him. Now he'll have an entire year to build on relationships at Florida instead of the months leading up.

Some odd stuff going on today, now we are trending with Malik Langham.

Yep, Malik Langham seems to like Florida. NSD is going to be fricking chaos, man. I also hate that these guys who predict for players can change it all the way up until the last minute.

Goldkamp also said that we have 10 slots open because of Russell, but I'm not sure how accurate that is.

Goldkamp wouldn’t say it if it weren’t true I don’t think. What a weird NSD Eve.

The list that I thought was pretty accurate now looks like it needs a four star added, a five star taken off, and Nesta might be getting more and more likely.

Honestly it depends on where you visit, some sites have been more bullish on him then others. I know on GC, most seemed to have conceded NPF awhile ago. Just too much ground to make up with a new staff.

No one had info on NPF this whole time. He was a UF lean due to lack of info.

This will likely make Hevesy 1 for 3 on the big time in state OLs

I wouldn't shoulder too much responsibility on him (yet). We were really late to the dance for a lot of these guys, and it's kind of incredible that we're even going to be on the table when a lot of them weren't even considering Florida when McElwain was around.
