All those QB's can be put on coaching, and it's been obvious.

Brissett is starting in the NFL
Grier is lighting it up at WVU and will be a first rounder
Drisk looked like a stud as soon as he left UF
Harris was an Ath turned QB, and badly
Appleby - A project low star kid
Del Rio - Bounced school to school, sucked at all of them he wasn't on coaches, just not very talented.
Franks - Raw talent, had zero coaching help to help him get the game

Coaching busted most of these. Just God Awful coaching.

Who, exactly?

Trask seems, to me, the best choice for Mullen moving forward, but we don't have dick at quarterback.

Trask would seem to be a good fit for Mullen...we'll see. I want to remind you guys that Dak Prescott was a 3* and not widely recruited. A true frosh probably would be a development project for one year...so we need a JUCO or a guy already on the roster...aint many of them. Allen could be another candidate.

The main thing is to be able to run well and stop the run. Our secondary will be much improved and LBers better but need depth there.

One big advantage is three straight home games to open the season to get a QB and frosh ready to play. I sure hope we don't cancel another damn game when the storm is nothing but hype. Need a backup plan in case of a storm where we can use another source for security...freeing up law enforcement to help another area. Maybe a shuttle service at a reasonable cost to take folks to/from Jax, Orlando, Tampa, Miami, Ft Lauderdale etc etc to alleviate concerns about driving on crowded roads??

Thornton may be gone. He sent out a message that he had good news and bad news coming and too trust the process. Supposedly ole miss has a coach in cali telling Matt not to take his visit.

Who can? Jake Allen? Franks (Lol). Who do we have if Corral who is faster than anyone currently on roster is unavailable?

Or are we going the JUCO route for a third year in a row? I hope Mullen has a plan at QB, because so far I have no idea what the frick we're going to do.

If Corral doesn’t stick with Florida, it’s on his support system. It’s easy to see why he has made the mistakes he has.

Or Mullen could've told him to look around.

If Mullen was going to tell him to look around he wouldnt have taken the trip out there with the QB coach, and he certainly woukdnt have Matt planning a trip here

If Mullen told the guy holding several people in our class and several top prospects interested in our team I'm not sure how that sits with me. Especially when it doesn't look like we have anyone else interested.

*Deep breath* that wast he worst running I've ever seen from a QB. Corral would have easily taken that to the house. He had 350 yards less than Driskel. He looked awkward and was dog tired after running. Have you seen Franks' on a bootleg?

If Franks is our hope next year, we're definitely looking at the Gators dark ages.

Ole Miss WR Van Jefferson is visiting UF this weekend. Guess he’s going to transfer.

Jefferson would be a good get if he has his head straight and academics in order.

We've been in the dark ages the last 8 years. As for QBs we just need franks to get to 20 TDs. MSU had their best years when they had a competent passing game with Russell, Dak and Fitzgerald until he regressed this year.

He could've done it after he met matt. We'll know this weekend. It would be bad if we got 0 QBs in this class.

Man, I want to believe in Franks. I want to think he'll be a success story, but nothing that I have seen from him gives me any hope. I've never seen a player fumble so easily.

If it's not Corral, I sincerely hope we have someone ready to go right away. I'm never going to blindly ''believe'' in the process again for any coach.
