Of course. And over time, teams with better recruiting rankings do better than teams with poorer recruiting rankings. That’s a good general rule.
Pinkel did a good job over time developing his own system which yielded anomalous results. That doesn’t mean the recruiting rankings are useless. It’s just something you tell yourself to give yourself hope.
