Does KSU run the option because that's Bohannon's jam, or is it out of necessity, since they're only in their 3rd season and Triple Option is a viable way to overcome a lack of quality players in recruiting?

Dont know anything about them other than Bohannon. I'd imagine it would be easier to start a program with the triple option since its become a gimmick offense.

That's what I've always heard about it, too. The service academies use it because they're never going to attract talent with any long-term NFL prospects. It's become the starter kit CFB offense.

Which explains so much of why the nerds use it.
