I'm not sweating it over one recruit. And when I look at the top recruits in Ga this year three of them are qbs and weren't going to come probably, we have a good shot at the two top OL in the state, plus Cox. We'll be okay. If we whiff on the 19 class he'll have some heat.

Agreed. Virtually everyone agrees that the 2018 class in GA is not gold standard compared to what we normally produce (and by extension, bring lots into Athens). This is doubly so when you compare the talent loading up in state from 2019. If both of those sentiments are true, then I can't imagine that Kirby not taking the majority of the 2018 class from GA is a bad thing.

Especially if the '18 kids don't address the team's needs.

Land Salyer, Hill, and Cox in-state, bring in White and a 4-star QB from out-of-state (hopefully Mixon), and hang onto Anderson. That would address most of our needs and give us a lot of good top-end talent. Our previous two classes make up most of our talent on the current team which means there isn't a ton of PT available. Combine that with a slightly lower than expected finish last year and i think a lot of guys are waiting to see what Kirby can do this upcoming season. If we win 9+ games then I think Kirby and Co make the argument that they're improving and here to stay. Then the dominoes start to fall.
