Are we taking a QB if we don't get Fields?

We will try to find one

I got you, guys. Spoke to Fields today. Got a lot to write about.
Very interesting conversation. We'll have a lot about that fella on DawgNation over the next day.

I hope we have several options lined up. I hope I'm wrong but I don't have a good feeling about this one.
Note** I'll gladly say I was wrong if proven so.

Read on another board that Fields wants to dabble in Baseball as well and FSU is selling that Winston played both.
The state of our baseball program compared to their can't help if that's the case.

Sentell's writeup
Baseball seems like a tiny part of the equation.

As if I needed another reason to want Stricklin fired.

Pretty much sounds like if Ga has a decent season he chooses UGA.

Think that's been thrown in by former baseball alumni. Not only is Fields coming to play QB, but he's going to be our new AD.
What I took from the AJC article-
3.9 GPA
Twitter gonna blow up soon...

If the 3 prong draw for Justin is Academics, Family Input, and Relationships then UGA fits the bill. However, why do I get the feeling if those were his top 3 things, he wouldn't have committed already?
I truly believe he is gonna wait and see how Kirby and company do this Fall before pulling the trigger, and I don't blame him. I mean, lets face it, our coaching staff can recruit like no other, but we are still very much an unknown quantity on game days. 2 years will paint a much better picture...did we get Muschamp 2.0 or the next Sabanite?

Great point, but the answer is probably in between the two somewhere.

Which of these two different scenarios would make UGA more attractive to Fields? 1) Eason plays great and Georgia's offense dominates. 2) Eason struggles mightily and UGA has trouble on offense.

Obviously the poster above was saying we need to have a great season to show Fields our coaches know what the hell is going on out there.
But you bring up an interesting point. If you're an alpha male who wants to play right away bc you're the best in the world, would you rather see them struggle a little bit to give you the thought of starting right away and save the day.
If he sees Eason absolutely crush it, would he wonder if he should sit on the bench one year (assuming Eason leaves after his Junior year), or go to a school where he would start right away?
Hopefully he is as good as advertised, and he feels the same way. If that's the case, he should assume he will beat out and start regardless if Tom Brady is on the roster.
So obviously he should pick UGA (free crab legs). Go to hell Florida State.
Holy shite someone pass the Tylenol
