really thin instate class this coming year it seems.
Noland, Bohannan, Bishop may be the only 3 that are SEC caliber. I think East Texas and North Louisiana will be critical areas for this class to be an elite one. Plus we need to keep that Oklahoma connection rolling as well.
You would think that D-Tackle would be a pressing need in this class as will depth on the OL and at LB.

Bohannan is going some place where he can play QB.

Probably take a DL or two. We will only lose Jackson and Roesler off this coming DL rotation. Not a huge need, especially when you consider the switch to a 3-4 front.

OL is in good shape now as well. Froholdt, Gibson, Jackson, Heinrich, Merrick, Rogers, and Wallace are all Sophomores or lower right now. We just added 3 EE's in this class, so our depth is getting where it needs to be. We will have 15 scholarship OL this season. We will only lose Ragnow off of this coming years starting OL and will return 4/5 starters. I do not imagine Raulerson will be a starter this season as he was eventually nudged out of the starting rotation as the season went on last year.

I see this class as a skill heavy lean. More DB's, OLB's, TE or two, RB or two, 3-4 DB's, a couple WR's to fill the void left by the JUCO duo in 2019 and one QB.

I would probably lay it out like this...assuming we sign 25

4 DB's
3 OLB's/DE's
2 TE
3 OL
1 QB
2 RB
2 DT
2 WR
2 ATH

Then fill the last few spots with best available all around.

Missouri has an unusually deep group coming through in '18 so I imagine we spend some time up there again.

This is said every year at this time.
But, national recruiting services take a while to award stars.

A year ago, 247 had only 6 athletes in Arkansas with a star (all of which were only 3 stars) and guys like montaric brown weren't on that list yet.

So, the 18 in state crop has more 4 stars now than we had this time last year.

A year ago, montaric brown, Jarrod Barnes, koilan Jackson, etc. Didn't have a single star.
