I can't imagine already disliking him and then hearing him spout some of his favorite haikus. I mean, at least Mike Shula just stood there like a gloomy soap opera star and didn't say anything. Butch thinks things are grand.
This is correct. The guy is not even remotely relatable to the average Tennessee fan. He speaks like some sort of yankee politician robot hybrid who is constantly giving scripted answers.
No fricking wonder recruits are not gravitating to him now that the shine has worn off.
Imagine being 17 years old and youre forced to host Butch Jones in your living room for 3+ hours

That seems deadly accurate. I know you don't want to hire a guy because he's a "insert school here" guy, but you better hire a guy who at least feels like he sort of fits (or he better win every frickin game).
Butch is like a worse version of that little twerp that Minnesota just hired.
